Treasurer's Report.

• $1000.00 spent last month

• Spent on College & Career, Grants, Hospitality, New Teachers

• Health Office

Student Representative Report (Abbey).

• Food drive competition between classes, clubs, and 2^nd period.

Principal/Teacher Report. (Gina reporting)

• Family in Need program in progress. Xmas in a box.

  • 3 families identified. Accepting donations (gift cards)

• Minimum Days changed around Thanksgiving break.

• NCBI - anti-bullying program. Juniors attended; Freshmen next.

  • Next year will target Junior/Freshmen again.

  • Positive feedback from several students.

• AVID in full swing.

• Middle Schools Band Students to come see LH and BH Marching bands.

• Fall Play closing weekend.

  • Lower attendance than normal.

• Grant Requests

  • Grant requesting fees for 6 students $395.00

    • Discussion: This need not be a grant request; Money was allocated in the budget for Student Financial Aid. Money Approved.

  • Science Teacher requesting Conference Fees ($290.00)

    • Will be presenting Leigh's innovative teaching styles.

    • Motion to request more information and a break down of the cost before considering the grant request.

    • Motion Approved.
