Leigh Home and School Club Meeting

Attendance: Geoffrey Bush, Kathy Campbell,

Jim Banks, Donna Santilli, Michael Zaputny, Gunita Saxena,

Other Business/Motions approved:
Gina Nicoletti is the new contact person for school website. Oct~Nov
minutes reviewed with amend to staff grants, motion to approve, all
approved. Motion to approve treasurer report, all approved. Motion to
approve College and Career center to buy Microsoft Word if district
doesn’t provide, all approved. Motion to approve $381.00 over teacher
budget grant, all approved. Motion to increase Campus Beautification
by $500.00. Science club requested $1,000 for Shed for recycling
program, motion to approve, all approved.
Principal Report:
Update on staff grant requests. February 11th-15th Wacky Winter Week.
February guidance counselors will be visiting classes to help students
choose new schedule for the 2008-2009 school year. Alan Childs will be
taking over the banking.
The upcoming parent night topic will be on “Cyberspace”.
Treasurer:
Kathy Campbell spoke about the staff grants. Bought Quickbooks software
for computer approx $450.00.
College~Career Center spent $200.00. Kathy says, “financially we
are in good shape”.
Escrip:
Geoff reports steadily going up $$ and we need to add Lucky grocery
store to Escrip.
Hospitality:
Donna reports that in March is the straight “A” ceremony. She has a
lot of helping hands this year. Donna would like to provide food
for W.A.S.C.
March~May is the busiest time of the year for hospitality.
Jr. Prom:
Still need a chair. A meeting needs to be called by the board.

HSC website is up and running as of 01/22/2008
